I have found in situations like Arlo and Luddie’s, once I refill the cat bowl with the same cat chow it is eating, the cat immediately loses interest in eating and just wanders off.

Arlo could get two cat bowls; when the cat finally wanders off, he can consolidate the food into one bowl.

One of the cats that deigns to hang around us lies atop the cat food.

Never happens here….Miss Priss will always move over when I pick up the “feed bag”….

I have one of those too. So much easier to deal with than a small bowl.

Ah, Janis, the long-suffering wife, is thinking “boy, don’t I know it!” but deep down you know she’s gotta love a man who’ll feed the cat!
