    They are totally misunderstanding what the saying actually says. Only the good die young means a different thing than The good only die young. The latter does imply that if you died old like Mr. Meth, then you were not good. The first one, on the other hand, says that if you died young then necessarily you were good. That implies that if you were bad, then you died old. But you could be good and still die old. People make this mistake all the time.
