Has anyone noticed how vacant the “cheap seats” sections of stadiums are for most games, lately ? Pretty soon they’ll have to CG fans for broadcast games.
Some teams make more money off TV deals than ticket sales. If this trend continues, they may as well just close the gates and play in front of empty stands to save on labor costs from paying ushers and concessionaires. GO back to artificial turf and you can cut out the groundskeepers, too. They could pipe in crowd audio to make it sound better, like the Atlanta Falcons do.
This story lines been done before. Years ago they did a strip where the Smashers tore out all the seats in the stadium a replaced them with luxury boxes………

Just bought some tix to a White Sox game at USCF, and I noticed that SRO is $48 for a regular season game (I kid you not!)
