Hey Doug, I know you’re in Australia, not New Zealand, but do they have kiwis there too? I ask because I thought that apteryx was an extinct species like the dodo, however my scrabble dictionary says it is a kiwi. Yeah I could do a web-search, but better to hear from a reliable source.

Nice! A coat of arms with NO predators. Although, I wouldn’t want to get in a fight with either one.

The predators are the males, try being young and female and walk into a bar in Earls Court.

I wonder how long before this turns into an angry debate between evolution and creationism

I’d want to sue someone too if I had a name like Apteryx.

oh Chuckles if you were still alive today what fantastic literary possibly? plagiarised documentation would you be able to come up with that would cause the human race to continue to divide itself along philosophical lines of theory and truth? would the claims of plagiarism be refuted permanently or would Wallace’s shadow continue to haunt? would undisputed scientific repeatable proof show forth your theories of natural selection as prolific evolutionary functionality or would it simply be as it is today – -and on another note – if i were a ‘wingless bird with hairy feathers’ i should think that some lawyer somewhere could get me equal human status to pursue a ‘class act’ of unlimited wealth through court proceedings.

Who is this “Sue” person, and who invited her?

Oh wait… according to Johnny Cash it could be who invited him!

Might as well sue a doctor for reading him a diagnosis he doesn’t like. …oh, wait, that does happen.
