I don’t know if this has been brought up already, but why do I feel like Quill’s going to get some amazing offer in New York, and decide to stay there?

When I was in high school, I worked a couple of summers in a corrugated box factory. One of the varied tasks I was given at different times was to operate a heavy-duty stapler, constructing a certain kind of box. This was a big, upright floor-model power-driven machine, punching large, heavy-duty staples into the box that I held while working the foot-treadle that fired the staples. I think this is just what Tiffany could use right now to work out her feelings….CHOK! CHOK! CHOK!

Tiff was so happy when she got away from the kids, it looks like a case of be careful what you wish for.

Like it or not, Tiff is hot and Luann looks like a linebacker, with no lips, and 15 pounds of hair.

Gunther is Tiff’s “better than nothing.”Tiff is having an existential crisis, she has moved from being the HS Queen to another pretty girl in a place, where she doesn’t want to be, full of them and with hot men that are actually not interested in her.

I bet she is thinking about the unfairness of it all and how she should be in Hollywood working on here “career”. Unfortunately she still has not realized that girls like her are “a dime the dozen” in Hollywood and that her dream is far more difficult to achieve than climbing the Everest without oxygen. And like that endeavor, she needs to be prepared, because there are a lot of pretty girls that went to the best drama schools who are a lot better than her in the acting department that are still waiting tables or working retail.

Generally speaking, I always like Greg’s art style – - – clean and simple. But, today, in panel one, Tiffany’s upper right arm is so skinny that it is distracting. Her face is perfect.

To Tiffany — sour grapes causes frown lines…

For a job such as this, Tiffany should at least have an electric stapler.

This (recurring) scene between Luann and Tiffany working at this school is the only pre Pitt graduation thread that has continued post Pitt. Luann and Tiffany seem to have this abrasive tit-for-tat relationship and Greg seems to want to preserve and display it now and then. And it seems he put them in a working situation together in order to do that. But it’s not a major plot item and I don’t see the purpose of it. I don’t know why Tiffany bothers to work at this school. She doesn’t need to and there’s nothing there that interests her except that Luann is there and Tiffany just likes to be in a place where she can pick at her and be a source of irritation. Actually I believe that was the only reason why she originally applied for a job there.

Tiffany is a natural stapler. She would make a great motivational speaker. Or guidance counselor. Or super hero.

I honestly don’t think Zebo ever said anything that logical. I thought he was telling everyone to have completely blank minds in order to do art, or to destroy whatever art they’d created, or some such hooey…

I’m so oner this high school bs beef they have going. Both characters would be more interesting if they became friends. I still remember that strip where it was like the first day of college and Tiffany, Berniece, and Delta ( via Skype) were hanging out with Luann in her dorm room. They were all laughing and having a good time. It was so refreshing to see. The constant sniping between Luann and Tiffany is so disgustingly old.
