It is a pretty good Summer adventure to me. With Joel and Rufus being a part of Gasoline Alley for close to 60 years, I think that is a pretty good track record.
So now let me get this straight. When we get a member of the Wallet family in the story – usually Skeezix’s son-in-law Slim or great grandson Boog, but they’re still part of the family – people complain because they want Rufus and Joel. When we get Rufus and Joel, people compalin because we’re not getting members of the Wallet family. Me? I just want to see less complaining about who is and isn’t being featured and more appreciation of the strip.
