So German mimes tell the intoxicated what happens of you overdosed yourself by means of acting? Better watch out, Andy Capp and Homer Simpson.

That’s ridiculous. A Tic-Tac-Toe board could have up to 512 outcomes, 2 raised to 9, two possible states for each square (X or O) and 9 squares. But most of them are impossible because you can reach a winning position before filling up the board. The total number is a lot smaller. Considering possible states (with each square being blank, X or O), there are 19683 possible states overall. So, not even doing one move per day.

I don’t think their drunks program is going to go well.

    That’s a French mime.

Does that 26,000 figure include reflections and rotations? Does it include boards which have the same state, but in which the order of getting there is different?

Me thinks that some of those German drunks were doing the Tic-Tac-Toe math.

Maybe having to even look at a stupid mime will cause them to change or maybe they’ll turn up drunk so they don’t have to remember what the routine looked like. :)

No, there are really one three outcomes in Tic-Tac-Toe: X wins, O wins, Tie…

Nice to know that Germany has found a way to harness their mimes’ power for good.

I see only 3 outcomes; win, lose, draw.

There was a bedbug repellent on the market called Sleep Tight and it used essential oils. It worked to repel fleas and mosquitoes, too. Idiots stopped making it. Good thing there are recipes to make my own all over the Internet.
