Tee hee ! When grandson ( now 20 ) was 5yrs old I bought him drums for Christmas and made him promise me that he’d practice on Saturday and Sunday mornings outside Mommy’s and Daddy’s bedroom door.Needless-to-say, the drum set disappeared after about a month and while my daughter thought it was funny ( up to a point ) her hubby was not in the least amused. He never could take a joke !

The kid’s got a future. It seems that music today is heavy on percussion and every song has the exact same beat.

My parents gave my nephew a set of drums and other musical instruments for Christmas one year. His mother thought quick and said; “These are toys for grandma and grandpa’s house and will stay there for when you come over.”
