As always, Wiley you come thru every day with great ideas. I confess that I have been cutting out of my daily newspaper your political satire strips for many years. I actually put one of your sundays strips about voting in the Census office that I worked in in 2000. Everyone got the strip and loved it. I am sorry that it has taken 10 years for me to be able to say, Thank you Wiley Miller for a lot of thought provoking strips over the years. They have brought out the crazy that is infecting our politics, I am glad that you have kept a cool head thruout and have managed to satirize that which is almost impossible to satirize. Keep up the great work.
Hibachi is cooked food but what we seem to have here is a sushi chef…Who’s name might be Earl? Who cares… It’s the World Cup!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Messi! Rooney! Ronaldo!

Wiley’s Sunday panels are always brilliantly laid out, but this Sunday’s strip represents a particularly wonderful use of vertical space.

Even more fun, when they all land in the plates…

The ‘W T F ??!” look in the eyes of the octopus (at least I think it was one) is the best part of this strip. Well done, Wiley (again)!

Anyone else reminded of the slow motion video where they fire a chicken into the turbine blades of a jet engine?

Is that chef an Asian or White? He looks like a White, not an Asian.

Love the octopus!!

The food is prepared first by cutting into bite size pieces and then cooked on the Hibachi grill. There are no knives for the diners, only chopsticks.
Great one Wiley, I too love the look of amazement on the octopus.

Teppanyaki is commonly called hibachi in the U.S.
