I remember going to the orthodontist to have the braces removed so the oral surgeon could extract the rest of my baby teeth which never got loose. Insult upon injury piling up as the braces went back on 6 months later. The mouth pieces today make that problem obsolete.
As an adult, I did the Clear Correct plastic aligners. It was fast, I was done in under a year. Every three weeks, new trays were introduced. I’d spend the next 24 hours taking Hydrocodone for the pain, and drinking milkshakes.

My daughter’s ortho office was the same as her regular dentist’s. She’s STILL glad that she’s “brace-free” now.
