Wouldn’t it have been easier just to run out and fill the propane tank for the grill? I’ve had to do that a time or two! Of course then we wouldn’t have this short story arc.
Tess should join them for the fun of roasting over an open fire. I wonder how they got the burgers to stay on the sticks, though. Perhaps it’s more like kebab?

If you’re going to dig the hole in the ground, you might as well cook a whole pig in it.
Good bed of coals, wrap the pig in foil, lay it in, cover the whole thing with dirt, and come back in eight hours.

Take the racks out of the oven, lay them over some stones or cinder-blocks, build your fire between the blocks, and get grillin’!
