Iâve always loved vegetables. My mother was a really good cook and she made everything taste good. I learned a lot of her recipes, and when she lived with us she even said that Iâve become a better cook than she was. Our kids loved vegetables too, and their kids do as wellâŚ

Iâm with Jeri; couldnât stand beets, as a kid.
Theyâre not as âawfulâ now as theyâd seemed to me, then .. but I still wouldnât call myself fond of âem.

Just because a plant is EDIBLE doesnât mean you should. I include beets and lima beans in that classification.
