    I don’t understand why any teacher would do any particular religious celebration in a public school anyway. Even back in the 60s, the only thing Christmas-like that we did was focused more on snow with maybe a touch of Santa (which in its modern form is wholly secular).

    Maybe they should do a schoolkid version of My Little Pony’s “Hearthswarming Eve.” It closely resembles Christmas celebrations but is nothing religious.

    “A Christmas Carol” is by Dickens and isn’t religious. It’s about a greedy man haunted by 3 ghosts at Christmas for being a selfish old bird. Outside of Tiny Tim’s, “God Bless us everyone,” that’s a close to religious as it gets. And since the story is set in Victorian times, dialogue like that is par for the era. And there are even modern variations of it set in our time, Bill Murray’s “Scrooged” comes to mind, that they could use. PC idiots are too picky.
