My wife is a Parish Nurse (it’s community health nursing loosely attached to a church*). When we go to church, more people stop and talk to her than stop and talk to the pastor. However, each one of those is a phone call she doesn’t get when she is supposedly “off duty.”
I say “loosely” because although technically speaking each nurse is responsible for her (yes, all 35 nurses in the program are women) congregation, they all cover each other with knowledge, medical equipment and actual work. It’s not uncommon to have multiple denominations working on the same project.
Citizen, and although I could see myself in Europe, I do not live there. Put it this way. I can walk to your country, if I chose.Linguist, I am disappointed in South America. Health care should be free to ALL citizens.I am dismayed that more countries are like the US.
