If you’re beloved enough, people will pay to see you or to go where they are. Then you can trade that money for socks.

“A least?” It’s “AT least!” Don’t these cartoon authors ever proof read their stuff? I used to never see mistakes in comics and now I see them all the time.

If being beloved was currency, most rich people would become paupers overnight.

I disagree. If you are beloved people will invite you for dinner. They might even give you a car – that has happened to me. (It was an old car, but still …) Not socks though. No one has ever given me any socks, not since I was a kid.

I figured that was just the way Agnes was talking. Silly girl. I don’t criticize, though, because I am not perfect ……close, but not quite there yet.

The problem I have with this is, Agnes IS beloved! I’d feed her and give her socks! (I wonder where one buys socks that long.)

Agnes should be in harmony with this. Granny gives her socks every Christmas.
