Once again, Richard posted a blog entry for just this strip.Last Sunday, the 10/17/10, 10/24/10, and 10/31/10 strips were skipped in the rerun, and the 11/7/10 strip was run, instead of 10/17/10.I figured that was to time the rerun up with the holidays, and 10/17/10 would be run this week.Instead, the 11/14/10 strip has also been skipped, which brings us to 11/21/10. If you’re confused, join the club.

Why the negativity? I think it’s nice of mabrndt to keep track and I appreciate his public service of posting the blog posts. By telling him or her that ‘nobody cares’ you are not only very hurtful for absolutely no reason, you also presume to speak for all of us readers. I for one do not appreciate you speaking for me in this way.

: D I think Dill’s hat actually works! (A very good thing he can’t make out those ‘conspiratorial whispers,’ or Christmas might be ruined.)

Agree. Ignore @bpullin, because when he says nobody cares, he’s only speaking for himself. I appreciate and enjoy the links to Richard’s blog posts.

I care. Knowing those things in no way ruins my enjoyment of the strip.   But it is somewhat interesting to try to understand the decision-making process of the editors.

It may seem repetitive to see the same message every day, but a reminder with a link to the blog helps make sure readers have an easy way to check it out. And, the blog is just another interesting bit of comic strip lore. Why not enjoy it?

How arrogant of you to presume to speak for the rest of us! Who do you think you are? (A rhetorical question — I don’t really care to know.)

Thanks for the kind words. There is a nearly two week gap in the blog entries at this point; the next one covers many strips. So, I won’t be posting any for awhile (not because of what @bpullin wrote).
