Shouldn’t open relations until they close Isle Los Pinos, their political torture prison. Makes Gitmo look like Romper Room. Pulling teeth with no anesthesia, the torture of the wire in the nasal cavity (taught to Castro by Khrushchev himself), forced water bloating, skinning, gang rape as punishment, etc. The Castro bothers are some of the most evil people left on the planet. As bad as Kim in N. Korea.

There are a couple of Portuguese expressions that come to mind… and I wonder if similar in Spanish:

‘deixar as barbas de molho’ = ‘leave one’s beard in sauce’/‘marinade in sauce’ = To have patience. But I see no bowl, so maybe not.

Then there’s ‘Nas barbas de < alguem > ’ = ’ in < someone’s > beard’ = Under their noses or To their face. In this instance, I think the latter : In their face.

Can any Spanish speakers confirm any similar expressions?
