Michael’s plan with his parents is more fun but sadly, Lawrence’s must be terrible, no fun, tho’ By the way, I think Connie and Ted are perfect to be together? Connie has a lust of sex and Ted is such pervert. sighhhhhh!
Our kids always complained that the family vacations we took weren’t where they wanted to go. Our son, by the time he was in high school, finally said almost none of his friends ever took family vacations like ours, and most were from single parent homes.
Now they really treasure the memories from those vacations.
@Paul Jones I don’t understand why everyone who has followed this comic strip from its (their?) infancy feels the need to constantly point out what’s coming next.
Hea Paul,
Wiith all due respect…., Oh heck, you didn”t respect those who wanted to follow the story line ourselves.
Keep it to yourself. IN OTHHER WORDS, SHUT UP.
The strip may be over 25 years old, but some of the readers aren’t. As I’ve said before, these re-runs are all new to me, so please stop telling what happens!
it’s too bad that when they are on their vacation in the cabin, zombies attack and tragically devour the brains of the entire patterson family, thereby leaving john’s dentist practice in disarray. Meanwhile the other little boy has a boring , but safe vacation in the backyard tent.
little bit of irony there…..
in a side note, when john’s brother puts the house up for sale, he is advised by his realtor to rip up those choo choo train tracks going all over the yard.
The story line Paul is talking about is available in Lynn’s book “Is This ‘One of Those Days’ Daddy?”, but does not include any shenanigans at home with Ted and Connie. Today’s strip is not part of that story in the book, either, so this may or may not be the same story.
Irregardless, Paul it is not very nice of you to spoil it for the newbies.
Oh dear, I thought next week’s arc was the one about getting lost on the huge noodle farm and being hijacked by the time traveling Van Gogh impersonators. I must be losing it.
Sorry JanCinVV, please forgive me but you just committed a sin of English that grates me. Irregardless is NOT a word but regardless is. Lose the Ir in the future.

LOL, and the reason you just gave away the next weeks worth of the strip is?

Why is Lawrence purple in today’s strip?
I put “spoilers’ right up there with spammers on my list of annoying people.

I agree Catlady1!! I have no idea why he would put out spoilers (unless maybe they are wrong?)

Spoilers have to feel important, or is that impotent.

by the by, I was under the impression that lynn is ‘redoing’ the strip anyway and that these are fairly recent and not 25 years old

Connie’s kid looks happy about the idea of building a tent in the backyard.
If his imagination is even close to Calvin’s…he’ll be in for a great time! :-)

The spoiler post is gone. Glad I missed it. As I have stated before, if you are going to do that, please preface it with a an alert.
Spoiler Alert
Like that.

@catlady1, on my screen Lawrence is light brown, just as he’s always been. It’s his shirt that is purple.

Mike, ask your Mom & Dad if Lawrence can come along. It would give you someone to play with.

Yeah, and disrespect isn’t a verb, either (my pet grammar peeve). Usage changes our language whether we like it or not.
