Except the “man” in chairman doesn´t go towards the sex, it goes towards person. So it is basicly a change because these people don´t understand the language, and thinks words can only have one meaning.
So now all literary works from the beginning of the written word are invalid and cannot be used in classrooms?And everyone these students talk to should be corrected when they use a “wrong” word? Good luck with that…
