There certainly can’t be any law about being too low to see over the dashboard, or ninety percent of the old people I see on the road would be in the slammer.
I think he’s probably napping. Like the comment about ways of dying; “I want to die in my sleep, like my grandfather. Not screaming in horror like the other people in the car”.
Back before I bought my first car, my dad used to drive me home from university sometimes when I’d come home for the weekend; I used to tilt the passenger’s seat back and go to sleep, but then one time we actually got pulled over on the carpool lane when it looked like there was only one person in the car because I was tilted back.
