Uh but then again Sam lately this whole strip has been a loser. Good Morning fellow night owls/early birds/sockpuppets.

How does this harassment constitute “hyping” the play? Was it covered by any media outlets? No? Then it wasn’t hype.

Anyway, I guess my joke-prediction about the next story arc not beginning until the middle of August is in danger of coming true.

It’s The Long Goodbye. This has to drag on until more or less Sunday before the new adventure kicks off. Sorry to repeat myself – but hey, this is Dick Tracy – it’s a flaw of this type of strip, trying to run a story that can be followed during the week or from Sunday to Sunday.

Which begs the question: if a reader can follow a story every Sunday, why bother checking it out during Monday through Saturday?

Maybe the Tribune can save some money…

Sam’s comment is lame in so many, multi-layered inter-dimensional ways it’s hard to fully fathom it’s essential lameness

Okay, so they can remember a plot twist at the beginning of this banal story weeks ago, but they can’t remember whether Dick was wearing bandages from one day to the next. Sadly, these mysteries are all that keep me paying attention any more.

I believe it was “rock”, not “rocks”-and the guy with the cell phone must have had an IPhone prototype, judging by the way he is holding it, just like he did the first time through, with his knuckles

Liz(z) finally said something that takes her out of the “bimbo” class: she said “nonsense”. Good for you, Lizzy! You are two legs up on Macy!

enough of this story end it all ready. how about a new story?

Well, that refutes my explanation of why the body on the stage seems to have been forgotten. :(

Hey, it just occurred to me that Anja Nu is a play of words on “ingenue.” Is it just my imagination or there’s less people commenting on Dick Tracy now?

There’s less people commenting now, I think more of us are falling asleep reading the strip

Time for a new story and more nonsense.

“I guess?” Dick’s not much of a detective these days, is he?

Dick Tracy’s about to start a NEW adventure. Great story with the CLASSIC Dick Tracy villian, The Blank. A classic.

Looking forward to all the further adventures. Hope to see more stories with Sam, the Chief and some classic Dick Tracy villians!
