Judas got a raw deal. In order for God to fulfill the prophesy, Judas had to be the fall guy. Then to make matters worse, he can’t even ask for forgiveness on his deathbed cause he’s a suicide. Then Christians hate him forever cause he did what Christ told him to do.Raw deal, Almost as bad as Job..
I just had to do a Google search on cariot so see what Judas is (was). After having to tell Google no, I wasn’t really looking for chariot, the answer turned out to be a sweet Israeli breakfast cereal.
Chikuku and Lewreader, if we’re going purely on what scripture says, there’s not a lot of evidence that Judas was doing jesus’ will when he turned him in. I know the theories that suggest it (not to mention the “gospel” of Judas) but a strict exegesis won’t allow that interpretation.
Having said that, it would be in character for Jesus to go seek him out and forgive him. That’s why Jesus is so great.
read the gospel of judas a while back - interesting
was thinking of that lyric ’ did judas iscariot have god on his side?
yes, there’s other judases, but they’re now normally called jude or judah
also, just noticed our spammer buddy is selling true religion for 30$
I think we can all agree, when Judas is mentioned, they mean bad old 13th apostle, betrayer of jesus. I don’t think we need to have it all spelled out.

^Joe, most of us probably know that, but when a person says “Judas,” in normal conversation, it is understood that they mean Judas Iscariot.
Regarding the toon: this guy realizes of course how things ended for Judas?

Every life has or will have a “Judas” in it. The real trick is to try not to be the one for someone else.

always agree with Management, if you want to get into management never make a decision only approve good decisions and quickly detach from bad ones

The belief that suicides go to Hell contradicts the whole purpose of Christ’s mission. Everyone is forgiven. No exceptions.
