Seems like when Hobbes tackles Calvin, the mayhem is much worse. Calvin should thank him for being so gentle.

Tackling (def): knocking the ball-carrier to the ground. Isn’t that what Hobbes did?

I think he broke his freaking neck.

Now that Hobbes mentions it, tackling someone when you want to stop their advance, does seem very low brow, and very military. A mine field would work very well too, and be more permanent.

Just introducing a technological element that wasn’t there before.
