Alice: I want something big for Christmas, but I'm not sure what it should be. Petey: You got a big fountain last year. Alice: Oh, yeah..... Alice: I forgot all about that thing! Petey: It's out in back behind the grill, full of spiders and wet leaves. Its one more reason I'm scared to go out in the yard.

How fleeting is fame! Get Alice a big empty box and some wrapping paper. Those should keep her amused longer than any toy or trinket would….

Yeah, I forgot all about that thing, too. CLASSIC kid stuff, though- there’s a ton of my “Big Gifts” that got forgotten (begged my parents for a Jurassic Park Command Compound and “grew out of” toys that year). My brother had a ton of R/C Cars that eventually collected dust, too.
