    See, six minus the one is 5, then 5 minus the one is 4.Then for 7 × 13, you add the one to make 8, then multiply the 3 times 7 to get 2. The tax auditors love me when I come in every year. Somehow, the experienced ones are always recommending me to their new auditors. They say it’s for “training”.

    6 * 6 = 48 in base 7, or 56 in base 6. Your number base must be somewhere between those two
