What? I never leave the house without 3 sets of car keys…..I always lock then in my car..I hope nobody here keeps their remote locking clicker on their key chain….If you lock your keys in your car, the way to unlock it is also locked in the car….I always carry three ways to get into my car….But then I live in Paw Paw Michigan, and I never lock my car or my house….
Okaaaay… hmmm… I think he means cos they tend to have reminders built in. .. IE, you won’t get far without the keys, or with the flue closed. …
But if anybody else has a thought….
Meanwhile. ..me too, Varnes. Not the Paw Paw part. . And i do have to lock my doors. But i have a zillion keys to everything, if possible. i hate that so much clothing made for women has tiny useless pockets, or none. I want car keys in my pocket AND in my purse. And in most places, if you have AAA, they’ll make you a plastic car key for your wallet… NOT for driving, but to open the door. Of course, mine is in my purse, which might not help.
I used to date a police officer, who told me never to put my car keys in my purse. If your purse is stolen the thieves have your address, your house keys, and, probably, your cell phone. If you don’t have pockets, and are shopping with a friend, trade keys until you get back to the car.
Now just a minute. If you keep your clicker to lock the car on your key chain, you can’t lock your keys in the car, now can you? That is, if for some unknown reason, you would decide to lock your car manually, and to do that in my car would take a lot of forethought.
Ladies, buy a carabiner, clip it to the outside of your purse. When in the grocery store, clip it to the cart. That way if someone tries to steal your purse, they can’t, it’s securely attached to the cart. (Keep your purse closed so they can’t reach in and grab your wallet). Heard that tip on the news.
Use hand sanitizer on the baby seat. Plenty of germs there that will transfer to the bottom of your purse.
Stratmanron, I have one of his Pathmakers, the last one that he by here…..It’s my “Just right” guitar…So fun to play A beautiful thing..Not to brag, but I also have the last Johnny Smith guitar made by Heritage in Kazoo… ..doublepaw, I kinda figured you were from here, Isn’t it great? Half an hour from Kalamazoo and a half hour from Lake Michigan….codger, South Haven is one of the prettiest little towns on the Lake, and there are a lot of them….300 miles of beaches, sand dunes and cliffs..South Haven is friendly to visitors..I remember going to the Lake in the seventies and the eighties with a pack of friends in the back of a pick-up…..getting baked and fried in the sun and the water, then driving to Kazoo and watching Four Wheel Drive at Bowser’s or Club Soda…… Butch, I was coming back from Canada a couple years ago…The guy at the border looked at my license and said, "Paw Paw, huh? Do you ever run into Charley Maxwell? I said, “Yeah he lives on the other side of the lake, I was on a paddle boat ride and he came out and waved..”….. That was his interrogation, and he just waved me on through…Comicsssfan, It sounds like you grew up in a pretty poor school system to say the least….Paw Paw has very good schools…I substitute teach in Paw Paw and Mattawan..In both, the kids are great and teachers are very competent…Sorry to bore everybody else…
