Our four year old grandson’s already figured out which presents, under our tree, are his . When he first saw all the presents, he immediately picked out the two that were his. He even knew they were from me. (and he was right ! )When I asked him how he knew, he grinned and told me he could tell by the wrappings.Guess the Mickey Mouse Christmas paper was a dead giveaway.
Cats and dogs and children. Who would put presents under the tree just to be destroyed? We would have a big processional on Christmas bringing the presents to the tree. Then we could destroy them.
I did a good one on my husband this year. Every year before now I’ve done things to his present to keep him from guessing what I got him. So, say I got him a video game, I’d put it inside a larger box and pack it with a can of food, some jingle bells, and just any other thing I can think of to mask what he’s getting. Well, this year, I wrapped his present as is. He’s convinced I’ve gotten him a dvd and when he shook the box he said “There’s definitely more than just the present in here.” ahaha I can’t wait for him to open it.
JanCV, what would have been the reaction if there was a lot of extra unneccesary work created if the tie salesman’s kids were making a mess in John’s office? That does look like bad behavior on Elizabeth’s part.

Christmas is for children. Even the big kids.

What’s a Christmas tree without presents under them?
