More entertainment, If he flops around like a chicken does,it would give the rest of the condemned a standard to try to live(?) up to. I’ve read of some experiments on the guillotine….

Did you ever see the Sarah Palin TV segment where they are grinding up a turkey behind her after she pardoned a turkey? Funniest thing ever.

Neada, the funnel is how they hold them while chopping off the head so they don’t flutter around. No grinding going on there. PETA: People Eat Tasty Animals.

that block has a dip just like a guillotine. for the old fashion chopping block, the top must be flat so the blade can cut through. the block as shown will allow the neck to escape the blade. but perhaps that’s the point.

It does seem odd that someone who before today ate meat, yet gets put off eating meat because a turkey in a cartoon is about to be slaughtered in a quick manner, this is probably more humane than the factory methods his/her meat usually comes from.No meat means that sheep, cows, chickens and turkeys will pretty much go extinct, as humans don’t really have much space for things they can’t make use of (now that is the sad thing)

In spite of the chopping “block” being incorrect for the intended purpose, or the rest of the guillotine missing, here is today’s Loose Parts…

I thought this strip had reduced the violence and the sadistic execution “jokes”.

Not even remotely funny. This same comic team does the christian apologetic strip B.C. Appropriate for the Dark Ages, though. Parker and Hart are both dead. The strips are continued by one’s son and his wife. But again, the Classic strip for today is really horrible for those of us who have lost a loving Mother. I haven’t read B.C. in years, I got tired of the psuedo-morality play it presented.I may be an ex reader of this strip soon, too.

I suspect that this is one turkey that won’t be pardoned by the politician in chief.
