Being willing to listen and really listening to others, is the secret.Some people though, have some sort of pheromone that attracts others.

I had a girlfriend once, who could be standing in line in the grocery store and complete strangers would tell her their life’s story, while waiting to get checked out. True story ! . It was a common occurrence.

She’d have made a great private investigator or a spy.

She and Hector from Zits would be a fun crossover.

Earl is a great guy… That;s why he’s always at the end of the line. He always gets ’ At-a-boys ’ and no ’ Oh S**ts ’.

My dad was the sort of person who would have people telling them their life history all of a sudden. Mum really resented it. She’d fuss with me; “You’re just like your father. You can strike up a conversation with a total stranger”, as if it was some sort of character flaw.

better to be the listener. for all my sins, i’m friends with a couple people given to telling their life stories to total strangers. unfortunately, there’s no good way to make it stop

I have more online friends than real friends.

And I couldn’t be happier.
