Phoebe: Marigold, I got you an early Christmas present. See? It's a locket with a picture of us inside.
Marigold: Hooray! I look lovely in it!
Phoebe: I'm also in it.
Marigold: And YOU are my most flattering accessory!
On my limited budget I can’t do much in the way of gifts, but this year I came up with something everyone is enjoying. I enjoy knitting, I usually make baby afghans but this year I came up with a fun idea for a simple stripped scarf. The scarfs look good and they’re nice and warm, but on top of that I came up with the idea of having the stripes spell out the person’s name in morse code.
Phoebe what an absolutely charming gift from friend to friend. And Marigold looks lovely (of course!) in her new accessory. And absolutely agreed on Unicorn hugs….how sweet!
I just realized that I forgot to mention how much yarn you’ll need for the scarf, about 7oz for the main color, and 5 oz for the stripe color. By the way, I have a picture of the scarf I made for myself and I tried to do a copy and paste so you can see how it looks, but I can’t get it to paste.

If anyone’s interested I’ll be happy to give you my scarf pattern. It’s simple and I can make a full size scarf in just a week.

Take Marigold’s compliment and her hug as it is, Phoebe. You just might get something in return.
