Beagle Flower Power!

Far out, man.

Snoopy, take a rest and regroup.

Oh, my goodness! Those crazy Daisy stickers! My oldest sister had a blue VW Bug in the early 1970s. She & I were in a car accident (we rolled down into a ditch). After the accident, she bought some HUGE Daisy stickers to cover the dents!

I remember those, and the footprint stickers, too! We eventually had a huge, fuzzy green footprint rug as a bathmat.

My brother had flame decals on his old junker that could barely move.

I also remember those big stick on flowers. Haven’t thought of them in years.

If you think Snoopy’s house is nice on the outside, wait ’till you go inside…

Back in the early 70’s, my brother and I used scrap lumber to build a drab-green Army fort in our backyard. One Saturday we awoke, and my sisters had painted flowers, just like Snoopy’s, all over it.

There is no place like home.

Especially a flowery one!

I hope you’ve had a great week.-On Wednesday, I applied for my provisional driving license with the help of my cousin (I have no idea about these things) and I should receive some forms in the post. After all that is done, I’ll be studying for my theory test. I think it would be good for me to learn to drive. I know that you Yankees always say we drive on the “wrong side of the road” Not true. Your way is correct for you and our way is correct for us. Nuff’ said. Haha.-Also on Wednesday it was 4 years ago that I became a blood donor. A lot of people would simply say “Who cares?” but I know that you care. It’s one of my biggest achievements and I haven’t really had many of those. My next donation is 29th March and it will be dedicated to you! Hopefully everything will go well this time. Women aren’t very good at donating blood like men are because we have less iron. That’s why we can only donate every 4 months and men can donate every 3 months.-Well, I hope your weekend is wonderful. I’ve still been thinking about you.

Snoopy needs a VW Bus too

When I was in 2nd grade, the local VW dealership gave away giant daisy decals like that. They were part of the “Love Bug” movies.
