Days of Our Lives buried Carly alive but she lived because the evil woman behind it had installed an air valve and a speaker in the coffin to allow her to live longer and to taunt her. This is if my memory serves me right. I used to watch DoOL during summer break in highschool in the 90’s.
My grandmother used to love the soaps (back in the 70s). I’d come home from high school and she’d be telling me about all these people I never heard of. I would be so confused until I realized she was talking about her “stories.”

We used to have a sitter who liked the soaps. Eldest Daughter called them “the crying lady shows”.
