First part, the instructions, probably were not meant to be heard by the employees… Do his bosses not know Burl?

Do you remember which storage space you borrowed the lectern from?

Though some mix-up I received the boss’ instructions meant for him to present to me my ten year plaque. The instructions pretty much read like the cartoon….

They feel much better now

They don’t care. Nothing can lessen the joy of working under such an immense slacker who initiates very little work and doesn’t get off his butt enough to know what they do or don’t do. And they can keep him happy by punching him in early and out late. And one of those guys has been living in one of the units for years. Besides, if Burl can keep his job, what fear do they have of losing theirs.

“….so, duhhhh, we insert square peg into round hole, and uhmmmmmm…….hit HARD with ball-peen hammer to ensure proper fit! Any questions? Now, let’s all see what Part 2 says…………..”

That will make their day… and now, Burl can return to his crossword puzzle… 24 down… 3 letters… starting with T _ _ “How many stars today?”….?
