We tried to spend Winter at our cottage years ago … no proper insulation and just baseboard heating. We gave up a couple of days after the first snowstorm!
Our pool had a sign, Liquid Nitrogen. We were out in the yard and some guy pulled up in his car and asked why Liquid Nitrogen? Dad shook his head in disbelief (he was a chemical engineer) – because it is super cold.
In some parts of the US, people have “cottages” up north, in other places “cabins.” I don’t know if there’s any actual difference in the type of buildings.

The usual dumbness, what got me was the designer of the pool, Did they patent it?

Time to go now; the Golden Coral opens in ten minutes… Got to be there first to get the table by the bathroom and kitchen doors…!
