I’ve been in Walmart after Xmas and saw the returned trees

Absolutely, I love fake rubbery “cheese”.

Should have put the Spam and Velveeta squares together on a toothpick….that’s a real treat!

They claim Spam is actual pork, and Velveeta is actual cheese, but you sure couldn’t prove it by me.

Artificial all the way, and pre-decorated. We haven’t bought a new tree (or “trimmed” the tree) in over ten years, and then it was just to replace the artificial tree we had before. - Years ago, when the kids were young, we’d drive up into the foothills to the tree farm, trudge around in the snow, cut down our tree and drink apple cider. Later, wife and I would go to the holiday crafts fair and buy each other a hand-crafted ornament for the tree. Those ornaments still adorn our tree.

I use Velveeta fake cheese to give my dog her liver supplement. The vet says that is OK as long as it’s the only way my dog will take the medication. Honestly I haven’t tried any other way and my neighbor gave me whole pack of it when I had trouble getting her meds into her earlier in the year when she was so sick. I suspect I could mold a small piece of bread around the tablet, but I will use up the yucky cheese first.
