This reminds me of the time we went on a tour to some place in Indiana. One of the lowlights was a very bad country-western band playing Beatles tunes. Really. Their version of “Love Me Do” was truly awful. I applauded politely at first then stopped. My wife asked me why I had stopped and I told her if we encouraged them they would only continue playing.
