The warning should come before the pun, not after it. That said, there are far more toxic puns from Steve Pastis on a regular basis.

I don’t know, can a portmanteau be considered a pun? I mean, yes, technically it was used as a play on words, but was it really a pun? Either way, it was a lot of work to set it up, so yeah, it certainly deserved the warning.
