Sure ain’t easy to go school when there’s a teachers’ strike and still go when your teacher(s) has/have lost their job.

And the citizens with no kids should get a voucher too, in the form of a tax refund. Why should they pay for someone else’s kids to get a free ride? (snark) I do object to paying for sports activities and stadiums, though.

In NY state, you can’t get fired for going on strike when you are a teacher that is teaching in a public school. But you may be fined 2 days pay for each day on strike. That has happened, but not very often.
