That sounds like a threat.

Bring on the Bear! Bring on the Bear! Come on, Megan, Bring on the Bear!

I have a sinking feeling that that’s not what’s in the box.

Oh, but Alice is going to find something good, I feel it in my bones. Megan the Animal Lady looks like she’s the equal to Alice the Fish-Slapping-Bear Girl.

Hap slappy bear, where are you?

Megan looks like a close relative of the fish-slapping bear.

WAITINGMAN Hey, that’s my wife your talking about! No my wife has more facial hair. Sorry, now that I think of the in-laws you could be right.

Few things in life can’t be improved by a fish slapping bear. Oddly this effect doesn’t scale well, two fish slapping bears isn’t really that much cooler than one fish slapping bear, but one fish slapping bear really livens up a party or bridge game.

Maybe Megan has a bear-slapping fish.

I’m sorry but if Megan O’Grady can’t cough up a fish-slapping bear, what kind of “animal lady” is she? Maybe she can at least cough up a fish bone?

No chance there’s a hamster in there, is there?

What do they need a hamster for? They’ve already got Mr. Danders the Guinea Pig (athough it’s been AGES since we’ve seen him; maybe he finally got a Fellowship, and is working on his Doctorate somewhere).

My older sister, the park naturalist, worked in DC’s urban parks one summer. One thing she did was take animals to visit the summer day camps.

Then there was the day when, in cross town traffic, the snakes got loose in the back of the car.

Last week, on Coast to Coast AM, they had a person on who was convinced that Pacific Coho salmon were being genetically modified to grow up to 12 feet long. He was scared of them escaping from fish farms, and breeding in the wild. Wouldn’t a 12 foot salmon startle a fish slapping bear!

I believe he was confusing Salmon, with the Salmon Shark, the Pacific version of the Porbeagle, a large female of which CAN be over 12 feet long. But facts are not allowed to stand in the way at Coast to Coast AM.

Alice, go visit Molly and the Bear over on Sherpa. You’ll get your wish (sort of).

Alice just needs to take a trip to Alaska – then she’d see those fish slappin’ bears!

Megan reminds me of an adult Viola Amore!!!
