I don’t understand this Trudeau guy, I was always so nice to him. I even went to his wedding, and gave him a UUUGGGE gift. And then he does this to me. He used to be funny, but now, not at all. Very low humor energy.
Many centuries ago there was a man named Abraham who heard a voice in his head telling him to murder his son and burn his body. Before he could complete this foul and loathsome deed the voice told him to substitute a sheep instead and when he did the voice told him to tell all his neighbors to do the same and to worship the voice in his head as a supreme being. Abraham did this and his neighbors, rather than locking him us as a dangerous lunatic began to worship the voice in Abraham’s head, being primitive and superstitious themselves and eventually this led to the creation of 3 religions who in their madness for centuries have been hating and slaughtering each other in the name of the voice in Abraham or Psycho Abe’s (as he should be thought of as) head. So here we are in the 21st century and millions still worship the voice in Psycho Abe’s head and as a result of this, despite all the wonderful achievements of humankind the hate and slaughter go on and we stand on the verge of the annihilation of the human race.
And that is a very, very sad story.
Do you still worship the voice in the head of this primitive being?
From my UK perspective, this has now become pretty exclusively a rather prosaic, predictable, Trump-knocking strip. Obviously all Doonesbury followers already know he’s a nutcase. But given that the guy thrives on ANY publicity, this is surely giving him exactly what he needs. His followers must surely by now have worked out that anything Trudeau objects to is ipso facto a Good Thing for them, so it reinforces their support for DT. And they probably don’t read the strip anyhow, as a matter of conviction. So whose minds is this supposed to be changing? Meanwhile, for those Doonesbury followers still loyal to the strip, the only actual storylines we’re getting are 30-year-old weekday re-runs. All getting a bit dull for me, I’m afraid…
He claims he worships God above,But all he ever learned of loveWas how to get attention, then to screw yaHe told you lies, he bought your hate,And sold it back at twice the rateAnd in the church, you shouted Hallelujah!Hallelujah, Hallelujah,Hallelujah, Hallelujah.
Trump is inspiring in that he inspired me to have an idea: The most embarrassing person in the history of the United States contest. It could be turned into a TV show, American Idiots.
We now have a president in office who admires Abraham Lincoln. Trump (actually one of his ignorant minions) quotes fascist dictator Mussolini-
Donald J. Trump
✔@realDonaldTrump“@ilduce2016: “It is better to live one day as a lion than 100 years as a sheep.” – @realDonaldTrump#MakeAmericaGreatAgain”-Funny part is, he retweetet from an account @ilduce, not realizing Il Duce was what Mussolini was called in the same manner Hitler was call Fuhrer.
Asked whether he wanted to be associated with Mr. Mussolini, Mr. Trump replied, ‘No, I want to be associated with interesting quotes.” And he added, “Hey, it got your attention, didn’t it?”
The NY Times-All he wants is attention. Apparently, his mommy and daddy didn’t give him enough hugs.
Trump is sucking the air out of the entire media, not just this strip, by any means. He isn’t funny anymore. Huffpo just had an article today about the KKK supporting him. Trump has refused to disavow this. Candidates can’t help who supports them but they can go on record against groups who are violent and racist. If they don’t, they are running the risk of being saddled with the label of racism and sexism. Of course, trump has been accused of racism and sexism in the past. Still, the KKK? Wow.
I just saw that he quickly said he disavowed Duke on Friday, however there was an interview today in which he was given several chances to state that he didn’t want the endorsement and as LWP stated above, he did not. Instead, he said he claimed he knew nothing about the endorsement to Jake Tapper of CNN.
As the various remaining candidates flail around, their billionaire backers have no idea who to back. Who can they buy that will stay bought. Walker was not and never will be ready for prime time, bush died a slow death. And so far, Trump is the only one who looks and sees the elephants in the room and is apparently the only one willing to tell the truth. While all of the others played duck and cover when Jeb! brought junior in to campaign for him, Trump stood up and told all of the really teed off voters the truth. that GWB was a disaster as president who started wars on borrowed money. Something the gotp political class did not want to hear and to this day refuse to admitBut Trump saying that made the sheeple believe even more in him.I truely hope that cruz loses Texas.Cruz, the liar and student of Goebbels and Atwater, along with being a fascist, would be , as the GOP candidate, the biggest disaster that we have ever faced as a country. He would also destroy the GOP as he is a true Teahadist
He wasn’t ours to oust. What we did was destroy a marginally functional country, kill a lot of its citizens, and replace its government, police and army with nothing .Leaving a vacuum for terrorists to fill. And strengthening the evil Iran.

So why doesn’t Trudeau take a hit on Hillary? She’s such an easy target. She makes Trump look like an amateur.
