They’re on an unbelievable run, but they’ve also played pretty sloppy at times. It’ll be interesting to see how they do in the playoffs. It’s really easy for a team that coasts into the postseason to lose their edge and get upset by a team that had to fight to get in.
Their BIGGEST motivation is to keep home-court advantage over San Antonio. It’s been said before, and often: Winning 73 regular season games loses most of its lustre if they don’t also win the championship. They’ve still got three games to play against the Spurs, two of them on the road, and they could conceivably lose all three (I expect them to win two, but…).
I would think that it’s like being an actor in a long-running Broadway show. It is difficult to motivate yourself to give your best performance, every time you go out on stage, but you have to try.
Isn’t it a riot that we’re talking about the Warriors being almost invincible? The team that was a non-factor for almost four decades. It’s about time that somebody other than the Lakers, Celtics, Bulls, Heat, and Spurs joined that party.

It’s easier to motivate when you think you will most likely succeed than it is when you believe you will lose.

Go to Youtube and search on stephen curry. As a Chicagoan he brings back the magic of MJ. and merges it with the beauty that is the physics of a 3.
