It worked for me,( along with a lot of hard work and risk-taking) but it’s tricky. I guess I wouldn’t encourage my kids to that approach. Too hard to define the commitment (obsession?) involved.

Advice from those whose “logic” is, “I tried it and didn’t die; therefore nobody who tries it will die.” For obvious reasons, we haven’t heard rebuttals from those who did die.
