    @earth—-metal (floorboard) is where that term came from. A medal is what you or a soldier might wear as an award. I did know what you meant though!

    In the third panel, it looks like they are ‘knocking knees’ rather than passing side to side(of the knees).

    Exactly what I would tell the guys when I taught dance, as to doing things with your hands and feet at the same time, just like driving with a stick-shift. Comparing it to something “complicated” they’re familiar with puts them at ease to know “hey, I CAN do this!”
