When we had cats those cans went straight out to the outside can.

Friskies Mariner’s Catch. That stuff smelled like low tide at the docks. And the cats loved it!

If you really want a disgusting stench, warm it up in the microwave first. Yes, and Arlo should have immediately thrown the can in the outside garbage can. Hopefully the kitty will not puke it up.

I’ve often wondered why there are no pig flavored cat foods. A couple of mine will turn almost feral for bacon, pork chops, or pork roast yet no catfood maker has any pork flavors, at least that I have found.

Cats come from wild animals that often scavenged for rotting meat, so they like stinky things. Wait until you have a cat addicted to aerosol cheese.

Our cats are finicky, mostly only Friskies pates. We have a min-pin who takes special pleasure in licking the empty cat food cans.

The litter box will malodorously sing of your malfeasance for days. Seafood cat food is a life force.

My cats live quite well on just dry food, but when I cat-sit my friend’s cat, I have to give her some wet food. OMG what a stinky thing that is! I’m glad I never started it with mine. BTW, I’ve been feeding just Science Diet dry for over 20 years and all my cats have been happy and healthy.

I was going to say something like, if you don’t feed ‘em they won’t hang around … but I won’t.

Arlo should have recycled that can. A quick brush out under running water before throwing it into the recycle bin and then emptying the sink strainer into a plastic bag set aside for cleaning the litter box later. I have 5 kitties and do this all the time.

Our cat loves Sea Bass and Shrimp, well she loves sea bass but always leaves the shrimp by itself on the plate when she is done.

I take the Fancy Feast cans and soak them in the dishwater after I do the dishes. Cleans the can, keeps the recycle bin from growing funk and insects, and doesn’t use additional water/ hot water. It’s amazing how quickly a half-starved stray cat will decide store-brand cat food is beneath contempt, not to mention 75% of the Fancy Feast varieties.
