I once picked seed pods off impatiens to save for next year. I put them on a shelf on paper towels. Not 150MPH but they popped and made a mess with seeds everywhere.

I think the ferret story is interesting (and they are cute!) and I’m going to look and see if I can find out more details about how that was done.
