This will be my last post for the next five weeks. My wife and I are heading to Germany and the Netherlands on holiday.We start with the passion play in Oberammergau and end on a house boat in Amsterdam.
You can’t cook worth a hoot if you have no imagination, or lack any sense of joy or wonder. Besides, Opal’s an artist – she has all of those.
More likely, she’s a sensible grandma who took in the situation, remembered that an extreme haircut is only temporary, noted that Nelson seems happy with his interpretation of the result, and is making cookies to show her grandson that all is still right with the world.
Opal has does have imagination, she does not wish to acknowledge it for the stupidity of Earl’s mistake in cutting Nelson’s hair. If Earl had any sence he would have went to Opal in the begining.
