It is technically true though. And Nate ought to find some time to talk things over with Trudy if he was smart.

I hope Nate tells them why he broke up with her so they feel horrible. With friends like these…

There’s a fine line between playful teasing between friends and just being overly mean-spirited when it’s completely uncalled for, and Francis and Teddy have crossed it.

And to think that Nate dumped his own girlfriend for them.

Their reaction doesn’t surprise me, after all look at Nate’s track record. He likes to do things that make him the punch line to a lot of jokes. I’m not saying that’s a bad thing but it doesn’t make it easy to take him seriously when they should.

Nate, tell Francis and Teddy how you broke up with Trudy to spend time with them. That’ll shut them up. :)

LOVE the background in the second panel! Overall, the backgrounds of the Big Nate comic strips and novels are all pretty interesting.

If Nate was back, he would think of a clever shot back XD

Francis is a bit of a jerk i’d love to see what Dee Dee would say about this.
