It’s April Fool’s Day! I have some great pranks planned…

A couple of things – I like the reference from Nate, and as someone into drama then Dee Dee ought to take the compliment.I still can´t help but wonder, if they all seemed to have a “hunch” (and having a betting pool would mean they kept track) why not say something to Nate? Maybe I´m just expecting too much of the characters, or thinking too far in my head for day by day strips. :)On a sidenote, think I´ll stop expecting miracles in further reflection on the break up or him talking to Trudy by now – going too far into other directions at this point. Not saying it can´t, just doesn´t seem likely (and would be a shame for that character – just saying :p).

Why would it make him a wimp to have human emotions? We can´t all be robots.Also even if he is the one who broke it off, considering how he felt during the relationship I´d still expect more than the current – also for Trudy to assert herself. But again I could expect too much of them.

Well I’m with Nate on the Star Trek reference and comparison…

Maybe Nate’s got a thing for Dee Dee now.

I get why Nate is over it. Trudy was my least favorite of all Nate’s girlfriends. Also, Jenny was moving. We haven’t seen her in forever. She may be permanently out of the strip. I am hoping she comes back.

My daughter met Marina Sirtis who plays the character. Wonderful woman and she’s aged well since the show. Not like Shatner…

Gina is around just not important to this arc. The thing that I am concerned about is the way everyone expects Nate to stay the same. Not just in the strip but us readers as well. Wouldit be a bad thing if Nate had someone who could accept him for who he is and at the same time have Nate feel as if he wants to better himself? Big Nate the comic strip has been around for a number of years and I don’t want to see them become adults I don’t want them stuck like a ’70’s sitcom when no one was allowed to change.

Whoa! Comic strip folks. Its NOT real life. I think some of you probably watch a lot of TV Soap Operas.
