I recently Googled the name of a friend I hadn’t seen in over thirty years. I found out she died in December. Sixty years old. I will NOT be looking online for any more old friends.
“Where there is life death follows.”.And yet every bacterium alive has never died..It might have split in two several times per hour for the past 4 billion years and had most of its offspring (the other half of each split) die, but it never has.
If you had a relative with dementia who repeatedly forget the death of loved ones and then went through grief over and over every time they remembered, sometimes multiple times a day, you would understand that that isn’t funny. Not even a little bit.

Judging from the length of that scarf, Opal’s been knitting this for a long time.

I’m really good at starting projects and putting them aside unfinished. Anything could happen before I pick them up again.

Depends on where Cousin Hazel is now. She might not need any warm accessories.

As long as I’m not featured on the Irish Sports Page ( Obituaries )or the Police Log, then I know it’s going to be a good day !

I also found this a bit funny since she has knitted a very long scarf which took her ages to do.
