Just bought a $100 worth of used vinyl on Monday. Still love my system from the 70’s……and it’s still worth as much as I paid for it…maybe more.
I don’t get it. I remember going to stereo stores with fantastic equipment and CD’s are just as good to me. No scratches, pops, skips and smaller players. As to analog being better, I never heard cowbell in one song till I heard it on CD. I was blown away.
Spot on – I grew up in the 70s and 80s with vinyl and I loved cassettes because I could take them with me. The sound on CDs was always far superior to me. I don’t get the fascination with vinyl.

At least vinyl will still play with pop, snap & hiss; CDs & digital files just die (and analog DOES sound better!!)

Good equipment takes care of most of this. Vinyl sounds richer.
